Studio: Golden Buffalo Body Arts (“we,” “us,” “our”)

We keep policies simple so your experience is easy and safe. Booking or receiving services means you agree to the policies below.

APPOINTMENTS & AVAILABILITY

  • Piercings: Appointment-only. Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and complete paperwork.

  • Tattoos: Walk-ins welcome when artist is available

  • Groups: Book separate appointments for each person.

DEPOSITS, CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, NO-SHOWS

  • Deposits: Some services may require a deposit to hold your time. Deposits apply to your service on the day of your appointment.

  • Rescheduling/Cancellation: Please give 24+ hours’ notice to move or cancel an appointment.

  • Late Arrivals: 10-minute grace period. After that we may shorten or reschedule your service and the deposit may be forfeited.

  • No-Shows: Missing an appointment without notice forfeits the deposit and may require prepayment to rebook.

  • Illness: If you’re sick, please reschedule—tell us as soon as you can.

IDs, AGE, MINORS

  • Bring a government-issued photo ID to every appointment.

  • 18+ for most services; certain piercings/tattoos may have higher age limits at artist discretion.

  • Minors: A parent/legal guardian must follow Kansas requirements (ID for both, written notarized consent, and guardian presence during the entire procedure). Call us if you're unsure what to bring.

HEALTH & ELIGIBILITY

  • You confirm you are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Tell us about relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications (e.g., blood thinners), or a history of fainting.

  • We may decline or postpone a service if we believe it's unsafe (e.g., active skin issues, suspected infection, recent procedures, pregnancy/nursing for certain piercings).

  • We cannot diagnose or treat medical issues-see our Disclaimers.

JEWELRY & MATERIALS

  • No outside jewelry for initial piercings or Insertion (safety, sterilization, and warranty control).

  • We stock implant-grade materials appropriate for initial wear; we’ll guide sizing and style based on anatomy.

  • If anatomy isn’t suitable for a requested placement, we’ll recommend alternatives or decline the service.

STERILIZATION & SINGLE-USE

  • We use single-use, sterile needles, sterile disposables, and medical-grade sterilization protocols.

  • Setups are opened in front of you; you’re always welcome to ask questions about our process.

AFTERCARE & CHECK-INS

  • You will receive aftercare instructions at your visit and on our site.

  • Healing varies—follow aftercare and contact a medical professional if you notice unusual symptoms.

  • Quick in-studio check-ins or jewelry downsizes (when indicated) may be recommended; fees vary by service/hardware.

REFUNDS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • All jewelry sales are final for hygiene/safety reasons.

  • Service fees and deposits are non-refundable once the service begins or if you no-show/arrive too late.

  • If we make a mistake, we’ll make it right—talk to us the same day so we can help.

PRICING & QUOTES

  • Prices depend on service, jewelry, and anatomy; quotes are estimates until we see you in person.

  • Prices and availability may change without notice.

PAYMENT

  • We accept [cash/major cards/(optionally) tap-to-pay].

  • Tips are appreciated but never expected.

PHOTOS, SOCIAL, AND PRIVACY

  • We love showcasing healed work. We’ll always ask first before taking or posting identifiable photos.

  • If you prefer no photos, just say so—no questions asked.

ANIMALS & GUESTS

  • Service animals only (as defined by law). For safety, please do not bring pets.

  • Space is limited—please bring no more than one guest to your appointment.

CONDUCT & COMFORT

  • Be respectful to artists and other clients. We can refuse or stop a service for abusive, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.

  • If you feel unwell at any point, tell us—we’ll pause and take care of you.

COMPLAINTS & RESOLUTIONS

  • Tell us right away if something doesn’t feel right; most issues are easiest to fix same day.

  • If a dispute remains, our venue is Johnson County, Kansas (see Governing Law; Venue in the Terms of Use).

  • Our Terms include a concise mediation clause before filing suit.
